International Journal of Blood Transfusion and Hematology (ISSN 1673-419X, CN 51-1693/R) is published bimonthly in Chinese, and is a peer reviewed medical journal for doctors, medical researchers, and health workers in the field of blood transfusion and hematology. The journal is a member of the Chinese Medical Association and is executed by West China Second University Hospital, Sichuan University. The editor-in-chief is Professor Zhang Lin (doctoral supervisor) in West China Second University Hospital, Sichuan University. The journal reports the advances and progress in current blood transfusion and hematology fields. Since the initial publication of International Journal of Blood Transfusion and Hematology in 1978 (1979-2005, renamed as Foreign Medical Sciences Section of Blood Transfusion and Heanatology, ISSN 1001-1013), it has dedicated to promote the development and innovation of blood transfusion and hematology by providing an academic exchange platform. Aims and Scope
International Journal of Blood Transfusion and Hematology is a professional academic periodical of basic and clinical research progress and innovative research results in the field of blood transfusion and hematology at home and abroad. The aim of the journal is to publish forums, original articals, reviews, case reports, letters to editor, short communication in all issues. International Journal of Blood Transfusion and Hematology is dedicated to respect academic freedom, promote academic contend, serve medicine, and promote academic communication in the field of blood transfusion and hematology. It strives to create an excellent platform for academic research and communication and aims to become a superb periodical which can present scientific achievements and development trend in the field of blood transfusion and hematology. International Journal of Blood Transfusion and Hematology also focuses on the basic and clinical subjects such as deep understanding of blood type system, patient blood transfusion management, genetic susceptibility and special blood type, as well as precision medicine of malignant hematological diseases for such as immunotherapy, gene targeted therapy, new biomarkers.

About 60 days. Manuscripts are peer reviewed by at least two referees and/or Associate Editors expert in the field of the submitted paper.
